Our humble, yet energetic Backpackers is situated in the heart of Lagoa da Conceição, one of the most picturesque & popular areas on the Island.
You will be ideally located, just 15 minutes drive from the City Centre, and less than 5 minutes to two of the most frequented and picturesque beaches on the Island, Praia Mole and Joaquina.Lagoa is nestled between lush mountains and a tranquil lagoon which is a haven for water sports, such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking and sailing.
There is a large variety of supermarkets, cafés, shops, restaurants and bars, as well as book shops, pharmacies, a money exchange, surf shops, health food shops(and the list goes on) all in easy walking distance from the Backpackers. Every Sunday Lagoa hosts a craft market with beautiful handmade products of the highest quality.
From Samba to Hip Hop, Lagoa caters for all. Party people, local or not, choose the lagoon suburb as a night time destination. There is a great vibe and the people are beautiful, friendly and energetic…ready to party until dawn.From the airport:
By taxi: This is the fastest and easiest way, and costs around 40 Brazilian Reais. If you hand over our address to any taxi driver he will drop you off outside the front door!
By bus: Catch the "186 - CORREDOR SUDOESTE/SEMI DIRETO" to “Terminal Central” (city Terminal). Change from Platform A to Platform B.Get the bus 320 or 330 to Lagoa da Conceição (Direto or Semi Direto). Get off at Lagoa`s terminal(where the bus terminates) and follow the map below. It is a short 15 minute walk to our Backpackers from the Lagoa Terminal. We will be happy to have someone meet you there to help you find your way-just keep our number handy!
If you are arriving in Florianopolis by bus, it’s a short walk to the Central Bus Terminal where you catch the 320 or 330 bus as above.See another map:
